Common Name: Yellow-Striped Century Plant.
Situation: Full sun, Well-drained Soils.
Hardiness: Tender.
Eventual Height and Spread: 1.2m x 1m.
Agave medio picta is a truly dramatic arid plant, not often available in the UK. This slow growing Agave has striking yellow-striped variagations running down each leaf margin.
A stunning focal point in a container, or planted in and around like-minded arid plants such as Agave havardiana, Dasylirion serratifolium or Yucca gloriosa.
Agave medio picta will need ample winter protection or ideally overwintering undercover.
